Global Invasive Species Database

The Global Invasive Species Database presents information about alien invasive species. If available, GISD records information on: species name including the common name and synonyms, species description/summary, taxonomic rank, lifecycle stages, reproduction, nutrition, pathways of introduction and spread, uses, country level distribution (both alien and natives ranges), habitat and environmental system in which the species occurs, impacts (including mechanisms and outcomes), and management measures. The database also provides photos, a bibliography for each species and contact details, if available. All information in GISD is searchable and downloadable
