The Island Biodiversity and Invasive Species aims to provide, if available, information on the occurrence (both national and local), taxonomic rank, environmental system, biological status and impacts of invasive alien species on native species on islands. The geographical scope of IBIS includes both oceanic and continental islands. The taxonomic coverage is broad including all taxa.
