Plant Clinics role in supporting women-led cottage industry for promoting the use of biocontrol products: A case study from India

The study aims to analyze the impact of the Plant Clinic established in a small village in Tamil Nadu, India in linking their advice of using biofungicides to product availability through women’s self-help group (ET) . In addition, the study will conduct a client survey targeting farmers who were advised on use of biofungicides and investigating how the existence of women-based cottage industry has helped them out on product availability. Simultaneously also evaluating the increase in business of ET especially focusing on revenue generated due to purchase of products linked via the Plant Clinic
