Data Collection

The CABI Data Repository is used as a tool for both publishing datasets, and collecting data. CABI uses the popular digital data collection set of tools: ODK (Open Data Kit)

The data repository acts as an ODK Central store. This allows CABI to host ODK form definitions, manage data collector user accounts and permissions, and run digital data collection campaigns. Examples of this work may include running farmer or household surveys to gather feedback on a project, or running a series of ecological surveys to monitor crops or invasive species. Using ODK allows us to quickly and reliably collect digital information for pre-designed surveys and questionnaires and enables the capture of supporting information such as GPS locations, photos, video and more.

This project space might appear to hold no public datasets as this project contains working files associated with ongoing surveys rather than published information.
